Overview

Overview

The master’s degree in Agricultural Sciences and Resource Management in the Tropics and Subtropics is based on a multidisciplinary approach that, in addition to agricultural-ecological issues, also touches on social, economic and political contexts. The focus of the course is the basic and applied management of natural resources for agricultural research and development in tropical and subtropical environments. In the course of their studies, students develop a holistic, interdisciplinary understanding of the structure, use, interactions and management of natural resources and, on the other hand, they get to know a systematic view of resource management.

Graduates are able to recognize and solve challenges and problems in connection with (sub) tropical resource management and thus qualify for a variety of responsible positions in agricultural and ecological research and development.
