The Nutrition and Home Economics teacher training course is a basic study program that encompasses a diverse range of subjects in nutrition, food technology and household science.

The nutritional sciences use scientific methods to study digestive and metabolic processes, especially in humans. The subject of food technology is the industrial production and processing of food; Household science deals with the economic, sociological and technical aspects of the agricultural and food industry.

HZB (e.g. Abitur)

German language skills (language level GeR C1)

Career Prospects

Teaching at vocational colleges. For teaching at state schools, a Master of Education and preparatory service are required following the Bachelor's degree.
