The Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition and Food Science is a fundamentally oriented degree program that encompasses a wide range of subjects in nutritional sciences, food technology and the economics of the agricultural and food markets.

The nutritional sciences use scientific methods to study the processes of digestion and metabolism, especially in humans; food technology deals with the industrial production and processing of food; Die Wirtschaft examines the interrelationships between the agricultural and food industries.

This course of study thus represents a central interface along the entire food processing chain between consumer or consumer, producer, society and economy. The extensive and varied course therefore contains the fundamentals of the most diverse scientific, economic and sociological areas.
