Students who have successfully appeared for their Occupational English Test (OET) can view their OET test scores after 16 business days from the test date. Student are needed to enter their OET Login credentials to get access to their online profiles where their OET scores would be published. Moreover, Students can also download the hardcopy of their OET statement of results from their online profile. The OET exam is made up of four subtests (Reading, Writing, Speaking and Listening) and each is marked on a scale of 0- 500 in ten-point increments. Students should note, that OET does not publish overall grade for your OET production. The numerical score received by the students is further mapped to a separate letter grade for each subtest ranging from A (highest) to E (Lowest).

How is OET scored?

The answer books of Listening Part A and Reading Part A are given to OET evaluators at random for marking. Answer booklets of Listening and Reading Parts B and C are computer scanned and automatically scored. Audio files and scripts of Writing and Speaking sub-tests are assigned and rated by multiple-trained OET Evaluators on random to avoid any mix up. Students can check the OET official website for the detailed score reporting procedure.  Students who are unsatisfied with the outcome of their result can apply for a reevaluation of the remarking of their answer sheets.

What is a good OET Score?

One of the most tangled questions is score reporting. The OET doesn't have a good score benchmark. But, students are expected to comfortably get well over the 350 marks in each sub-test to be eligible for the best opportunities. Students are always advised to check with the significant council or board to stay up-to-date with the current demand of the market.

Till when is OET Score valid?

The OET official website doesn't give out a duration for the validity of the OET test. Students are needed to check with the concerned department (e.g. boards and councils, government departments) that acknowledges  the OET exam about the duration of the validity of the results.
