Tailored towards those with an existing background in engineering studies, our Master's programme in Engineering Management combines deep technical know-how with a variety of innovative topics from management theory and practice. Encompassing Project Management to Leadership, Managerial Economics and more, this innovative degree will give you the confidence and authority to make your mark in the boardroom as well as at the work station.

What you will learn from us

The M.A. Engineering Management at IUBH is designed to train you in strategic decision-making and engineering processes, giving you the know-how you need to take on high-level management responsibilities in an international environment:

  • You will acquire a firm foundation in management theory, with a focus on leadership, quality and process understanding.
  • You will receive all business training relevant to the areas of finance and project management.
  • You will expand your business knowledge from an engineering-related perspective, particularly in the areas of process orientation, production management, company organisation and the integration of online methods and instruments.
  • You will develop a versatile skillset in team leadership and motivation.

 

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

Studying at the IUBH supports and challenges you. Here is what you need to become part of our university.

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an accredited university (4 year programme or equivalent to 240 ECTS)
  • Final grade of at least "Satisfactory" (Minimum grade point average equivalent of 3.0 according to the German grading system)
  • Proof of English proficiency: Academic IELTS 6.0 / TOEFL IBT 80 points / PTE 56 points (overall) / Duolingo 95 points / Cambridge Advanced or Proficiency

If you have a Bachelor´s degree of 3 years in Engineering you can still access this Master by doing our TASC examination.

Aptitude Test TASC

The TASC examination is used to determine if you have the knowledge and skills necessary to successfully pursue the IUBH degree programme to which you are applying. Preparatory study materials are available on our CLIX learning platform to all candidates who will be taking the test. The materials include further literature references and detailed instructions that make it possible to work, for the most part, independently in preparation for taking the test.
