Geomatics Engineering (GEOENGINE) is the key discipline for measuring, modeling and displaying spatial data and processes. The latest technological developments such as global satellite navigation systems, autonomous navigation, driver assistance systems, digital maps and virtual globes have led to an increased presence of the fields of geodesy and geoinformatics in the public eye.
GEOENGINE meets the social requirements for a responsible use of available resources and spatial data infrastructures in terms of sustainable development.
In order to enroll in the GEOENGINE master’s course, future students must have a qualifying Bachelor’s degree in Geomatics Engineering or a comparable course. In order to be admitted to the course, you also need a sound knowledge of mathematics, knowledge of geomatics and programming skills, for example in MATLAB.
