The COMMAS course deals with the development and implementation of numerical methods based on the principles of mechanics, mathematics and computer science. The students get to know various practical and powerful approaches to modeling, understanding and predicting reactions of complex materials and structures from different engineering fields.
The entire master’s course can be completed in English and takes two years (four semesters), including writing the master’s thesis. COMMAS was designed as a very compact graduate program. The course is also aimed at prospective students who have already completed other courses and want to acquire expertise in the promising field of Numerical Material and Structural Mechanics.
