The sports management course at the University of Potsdam provides students with all methodological and specialist knowledge relevant to professional life. In addition to direct professional qualifications in the field of leadership and control of non-profit and commercial sports and health organizations, the focus is on the theory-guided and task-related teaching of scientifically founded management paradigms. These are always adapted to the peculiarities of the sports, health and leisure industries in order to ensure the necessary industry reference, which differentiates them from general business administration bachelor courses.
The sports economics training is supplemented by practical sports content, in which the prospective sports management professionals are geared towards the necessary sports references.
