The overarching goal of the master’s course is to acquire further knowledge and skills that enable you to practice the profession of meteorologist or geophysicist. In the case of meteorology, based on the bachelor's degree, these include in the broadest sense the ability to consider, analyze and predict environmental changes in or with the atmosphere from a mathematical and scientific point of view. In the case of geophysics, this is essentially the ability to consider mathematically and scientifically and analyze physical processes and phenomena inside the earth's body (e.g. earthquakes).
