The master’s degree in Political Science represents the orientation of political science teaching and research on the political interdependencies between German, European and, ultimately, global politics. In doing so, he draws on the Bonn research tradition, which combines contemporary, historical, and institutional research perspectives with the practical analysis of real political processes.
The course is intended to provide students with in-depth knowledge of domestic and foreign policy in Germany and other countries in the western world (Europe, North America) and Asia, as well as dealing with the respective theoretical and real-historical foundations and the theory and politics of European integration. The course also enables a thorough insight into political practice and integrates a professional field internship, which serves to apply the skills acquired during the course in practical fields.
The course offers graduates of a political science degree or a degree with a political science focus the opportunity to qualify on an interdisciplinary and practical level for activities in political or political areas
