The Politics and Society degree program deals with central fundamentals in the areas of political science and sociological analysis of society.
The various subject areas primarily include the areas of political theories and the history of ideas, political systems, international relations, German and European politics, and general sociology.
In general, basic scientific and occupational knowledge about conditions and interdependencies in politics and society is imparted. For this purpose, the core and two-subject bachelor's courses are also introduced to the methods of empirical social research (data collection) and social science statistics (data analysis).
