The profile of the international course in German-Italian Studies or Studi Italo-Tedeschi at the Universities of Bonn and Florence (Università degli Studi di Firenze) results from the binational cultural studies focus on Germany and Italy. The focus of the course is on the main subjects Italian and German studies, each of which includes linguistic, literary, cultural and media studies subjects. Both the cultural and literary history of Germany and Italy to the present day as well as the investigation of the development and current structure of the language itself are contents of the course. In addition, modules from political science / sociology or art history can be taken in the compulsory elective area.
The course comprises at least two semesters abroad in Italy in the Bachelor and at least one semester in the Master. In addition, an internship related to Italy will be completed. The course leads to the acquisition of a double degree certificate (Bachelor of Arts / Laurea Triennale or Master of Arts / Laurea Magistrale).
Successful participation in an aptitude test is mandatory for commencement of studies.
