The aim of the modularized four-semester master’s course in “History” is to expand historical knowledge in various areas of historical studies, to focus non-exclusively on a historical epoch and to perfect the application of scientific methods and subject-specific working methods.

Proof of completion of a relevant bachelor's degree in one of the following areas:

At least 24 credit points in the field of historical disciplines and the associated basic or auxiliary sciences must be proven.
The examination board can combine the admission with the condition that additional study achievements and / or examinations of a maximum of 12 credit points are achieved. In this case, the course can be extended accordingly.
