Overview

In light of current events, the historical dimensions of the economy become increasingly important. The master's degree in “European Economic and Social History” is dedicated to this development and combines the systematic approach of economics with the historical one of history. With high theoretical and analytical demands, it aims to convey economic and social development as well as interdependencies with politics, technology and institutions on the levels of actors, structures and processes.

In addition, however, a high proportion of practical work is possible - a six-month internship can be integrated into the course plan - which not only enables students to explore future professional fields, but also brings them into contact with potential employers.
