The master’s degree in physics with English as the language of instruction at Heinrich Heine University builds on a previous successful bachelor’s degree in physics and is aimed at scientifically interested students. The focus of the course content is on the research areas of nano- and solid-state physics, quantum optics and information, plasma physics, biophysics and soft matter, which are represented at the Heinrich Heine University in Düsseldorf.
This four-semester course with a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree is free of admission, but each applicant must individually prove their particular suitability for the course. As a rule, this is done through a successfully completed bachelor's degree in physics.
