After you have learned the engineering and natural science basics of mechanical engineering in the first three semesters, you can decide on one of the two main fields of study according to your personal inclinations: development and construction or development and production.

After completing the Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering, a postgraduate Master’s degree in the Resource Efficiency in Mechanical Engineering (M.Sc.) or Design and Development in Automotive and Mechanical Engineering (M.Eng.) Courses is possible.

  • When linking machines to form complex manufacturing systems.
  • In the development, construction, calculation and testing of machines, products and manufacturing systems.
  • When planning, commissioning and optimizing production systems and processes.
  • In project management and application technology advice.
  • In testing, in technical sales, in quality assurance or as a manager of a company.
