The Master's in Integrated Technology and System Development (ITSE) is aimed at graduates of bachelor's degrees in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering and industrial engineering as well as technical informatics.
The aim of the master’s degree is to analyze, model and (further) develop modern industrial technologies, systems and processes across disciplines. This involves the development of intelligent products as well as the design and organization of the flexible manufacturing and operating processes required for this. The recognition and use of the potential of proven and future-oriented digital technologies in industrial practice is also part of the course. At the same time, students are enabled to do research, e.g. as part of a doctorate.
Bachelor graduates with 210 credit points (CP) can study the master's degree directly (consecutively). For Bachelor degrees with 180 CP, there is the option of making up for the missing CP by the beginning of the master's thesis at the latest. This can be done by means of individual learning agreements for recognized industrial and research phases as well as by taking additional modules.
The master’s degree can be studied full-time for 3 semesters and part-time for 5 semesters. Part-time studies offer students more freedom, especially for work in a company, research activities or parental or care leave alongside their studies. The course (seminar classes, exercises, internships) can be individually technically and economically oriented through elective subjects as well as project and master's theses. An applied university project, practical projects in companies and research projects in the university can be carried out.
Beginning of the summer and winter semester. The part-time variant enables a more flexible agreement between studies (including additional acquisition of credit points) and company experience, e.g. B. every half week.

Completed bachelor's degree in a scientific, engineering, IT or technical-business management direction.
The required bachelor's degree can have 180 or 210 CP. For bachelor's degrees with 180 CP or less than 40 CP in technical subjects of engineering and 15 CP in subjects of mathematics and / or statistics, 5 CP in subjects of computer science and 5 CP in the foreign language English, the missing CP can be obtained by taking additional modules or (if applicable) can be acquired through practical practical phases. The final grade must be better than 2.7.
Graduates are able to work on complex interdisciplinary tasks in a scientifically sound and economic manner according to engineering standards.

You are qualified for career paths in analysis, design and sales disciplines in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, IT or as technical group leaders in small and medium-sized companies and large-scale industry.
