With the master's degree in applied automation
you will achieve the following goals:

1st semester

  • Digital signal processing and controls
  • Distributed automation systems
  • Commercial legal protection and competition law
  • Technology and innovation management

2 semesters

  • Drive systems and drive controls
  • Modeling and simulation of dynamic systems
  • Embedded systems and software engineering
  • Industrial bus technology and communication

3rd semester

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

Successfully completed engineering or natural science bachelor's degree with a scope of 210 ECTS with a grade better than 3.00 and relevant professional experience after completing the qualifying degree of 12 months.

 Information on the engineering or natural sciences bachelor's degree

The bachelor's degree must include at least the following content:

  • 40 ECTS in electrical engineering
  • 15 ECTS in mathematics
  • 20 ECTS in subjects of computer science

 Information for students with a bachelor's degree with 180 ECTS

It is possible to credit internship periods during or after the Bachelor's degree. Evidence must be provided for these practical periods of at least 750 hours. This proof can be provided by:

  • a qualified certificate from the employer that demonstrates the skills acquired in each case
  • through the form to prove practical engineering activities

 Award procedure

If the number of applications exceeds the number of study places available, the award will primarily be based on the final grade of the first degree. In addition, professional experience and other qualifying criteria can be taken into account.
