Overview

The internationally recognized Master of Business Administration (MBA) offers engineers and natural scientists precisely the know-how in business administration and management that is particularly important for the next professional (career) steps. In this practice-oriented, attractive and up-to-date program, the special focus is on:

  • Digitization and teamwork
  • Projects, case studies and company simulations

 

PROGRAMME STRUCTURE

The 5-semester combined MBA course consists of approx. 70% self-study sections and approx. 30% face-to-face events at the university. The course content, which is the subject of lectures in traditional courses, is conveyed in the combined course via didactically prepared self-study media (study letters and eLearning). In addition, there are full-day face-to-face events in small groups (approx. 25 students) on every second Saturday in the semester, in which the students deepen their knowledge in specific exercises and case studies and apply it in a practice-oriented manner.

In addition, the exchange between the students and with the teachers as well as the interactive learning is supported by the learning and communication platform ILIAS and other eLearning elements (such as online consultation hours and conferences).

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

Successfully completed engineering or natural science studies with an overall grade of at least "3.0" and professional experience after completing the study of 12 months. Knowledge of English at level B2 is recommended.
