Overview

In the business informatics bachelor's degree, you will learn to analyze complex organizational problems in business and administrative practice and to solve them with the help of information technology. In detail this means

  • that you can design and implement extensive business information systems,
  • Be able to advise and support companies in IT issues,
  • be able to solve problems successfully and performance-oriented as project staff,
  • are prepared to take on management and leadership roles in projects.

PROGRAMME STRUCTURE

You have the option of completing a semester at a partner university of the department. Studying abroad can be funded by the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) and the European Commission with partial scholarships.

Abitur or advanced technical college entrance qualification or previous education recognized as equivalent.

By studying business informatics, you will qualify for a wide range of tasks. The field of activity of business informatics is in principle independent of the industry. They are in demand as specialists in almost all companies and administration. As

  • As a software developer, you work in large project teams on the implementation of extensive information systems.
  • Project manager, you are responsible for planning, monitoring and controlling IT projects.
  • Consultants or consultants advise and support companies in the various problems of information processing.
  • Security Engineer, you are responsible for the security aspects of data processing.
  • Head of IT and Organization, you will be responsible for a company's information processing systems.
