The acquired scientific knowledge and methodological competencies as well as the accompanying practical components qualify for independent professional action in the fields of social work. The course reflects social conditions and addresses the possibility of change on a social, institutional and structural level. It conveys the necessary professional competencies in order to be able to describe and analyze everyday life contexts and to develop options for action, among other things.
Teaching takes place in modules that are multidisciplinary and organized according to topics, occupations or problems. They interlink theory and practice and combine content from various disciplines such as cultural studies, social sciences, law, pedagogy, social work sciences, social medicine, psychology and social management.
