Overview

Bachelor students complete an interdisciplinary, scientific and practice-oriented training in facility management in six semesters.

The course is divided into four sections:

  • A three-semester basic course
  • A ten-week practical course
  • Two further application-oriented study semesters
  • The bachelor thesis

The 5th semester is designed as a mobility semester. Only elective subjects are provided. This makes it easier to recognize courses that are taught at a university abroad.

The teaching takes place in equal parts at the University of Technology and Business and at the Beuth University.

The Berlin University of Technology and Economics contributes its competencies in the fields of mathematics, economics, management and computer science in facility management as well as foreign language training.

The Beuth University contributes its know-how in the disciplines of natural science, building technology, architecture and construction as well as technical, commercial and infrastructural facility management.

The course takes place as seminar lessons in small groups as well as in the form of exercises with practical activities in the laboratories of both universities.
