  Hints:          
  By resolution of the Faculty Council of Faculty VII, additional modules can be provided as elective modules. The Faculty Council of Faculty VII decides on the range of elective modules before the beginning of a semester.          
  The degree program offers four elective modules each in the five and six semesters of the curriculum. The student has to choose two elective modules from the actual offer.          
  Upon request, the student can bring in a maximum of two modules from another course of study. The dean of the department decides on the recognition. Modules completed at other universities can be recognized as compulsory elective modules if they do not correspond to the compulsory modules. The dean of the department decides on the recognition.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

  • University entrance qualification, subject-specific or general university entrance qualification or a legally stipulated university entrance qualification (e.g. §11 BerlHG)
  • A subject-specific practical training supports the course. The recommendation includes either a completed subject-specific vocational training or a pre-study internship, which ideally consists of a technical area that corresponds to the degree.

CAREER PROSPECT

At the moment, the public is only beginning to see how electromobility and the increasing conversion to renewable energies will change the requirement profiles for engineers in the economy.

In the future, experts will be sought who can solve demanding tasks in the fields of electromobility and power grids (with a high proportion of renewable energy sources). Interdisciplinary thinking and the ability to oversee highly complex, networked systems are required.

Experts are also needed in the field of services and IT solutions for all aspects of new mobility concepts. The electromobility bachelor's degree program meets these requirements and prepares students in a targeted manner in the required breadth and depth for a successful career or a master’s degree.

Due to the diverse course content, the graduates are preferably employed in the fields of research, development and project planning of devices and system components from the fields of drive technology, energy storage for regenerative energies and control device electronics.
