Overview

Today, economic and scientific developments increasingly require an interdisciplinary reflection, application and further development of information technology. The master's degree in business informatics supplements the courses in economics at the Free University of Berlin with a socio-technical component.
It thus covers the spectrum between the economics master’s courses in Management and Marketing and Finance, Accounting and Taxation and the more technical Master’s in Computer Science. The business informatics modules to be completed are supplemented by information technology and economics courses.

The master’s business informatics at Freie Universität is characterized by a scientific view of information systems, their methodological requirements and economic implications. He focuses on the areas of business analytics, e-business, IT entrepreneurship, operations research and decision support.

As part of the "Individual Study or Research" phase, students can specialize according to their inclinations. You will be supported by advisory services throughout the course of your studies.
