Autonomous driving, electromobility and intelligent mobility concepts determine the strategies of the automotive industry and transport policy. The future-oriented Bachelor Vehicle Systems prepares you optimally for these challenges.


In addition to the theoretical basics , the course deals in particular with topics with a focus on electronic vehicle systems, e-mobility and digitization .

In the first three semesters, the basics of mathematics, computer science, electrical engineering, electronics and control engineering are taught. In addition, there is the connection with basic knowledge of vehicle technology .

In the second part of the course, you will get to know the structure and functions of modern electronic vehicle systems . The focus is on the structure, actuators, sensors, simulation and software functions of vehicle systems. Depending on your interests, you can choose elective modules, which include classic vehicle-technical areas of knowledge as well as new mobility and drive concepts through to areas of application of artificial intelligence and machine learning . Of course, always with a great deal of practical relevance.

In the last section after the practical phase in the fifth semester, the focus is on the following topics:

  • Autonomous driving

  • Vehicle networking .
