As a graduate of industrial engineering, you are the interface between technology and business. This means that there are many opportunities for your career in almost all industries, from startups to large companies.

Industrial engineers are the all-rounders between the technical and business levels of a company. You therefore play an important role in companies with your know-how. With the Bachelor of Engineering in industrial engineering, you have varied and exciting fields of work in many industries and company sizes.

Our industrial engineering course offers a broad and well-founded range of subjects in the basic course. At the beginning of the course, both business management knowledge and technical basics are imparted. The contents of the course are, for example, mathematics, physics and economics. For the courses in mathematics and physics, the preliminary course in mathematics can be attended before the course begins .

Building on this, the main course in industrial engineering is profiled in areas such as sustainability, logistics and international studies .

In the higher semesters, students can choose from various elective subjects . Other mathematical subjects, entrepreneurship and language courses are offered, for example. The elective module Leadership Skills - Business Coaching is also interesting for the students. Here you can acquire important skills in terms of, for example, how to conduct a conversation and methods of intervention.

You will gain practical experience during a practical semester . You can also put your knowledge to practical use in events in our laboratories and in projects. Since the university is located in the economically strong Greater Stuttgart area, there are many exciting options here. Study projects and / or internship semesters abroad increase your already good career opportunities.

The university offers cooperation with around 60 partner universities worldwide (Mexico, USA, China, Singapore, Finland, and many more). In order to promote the international aspects of the course, the entire 5th semester is designed to be taught in English. An interest in business and technical English is therefore an advantage.
