The MBA course provides students with a first degree in economics and professional experience with advanced business management know-how in a national and international context. The course offers:

  • Broad professional qualification with an international focus
  • Focus on global companies
  • Strategy and decisions
  • Intercultural management skills
  • Scientific and practice-oriented projects
  • Innovative teaching formats such as case studies and business games

The five-semester General Management course begins in the winter semester and ends with the Master of Business Administration (MBA).

The combined course consists of about 2/3 of self-study sections and about 1/3 of face-to-face events. The course content, which is the subject of
lectures in traditional courses , is conveyed in the combined course via didactically prepared self-study media (study letters and eLearning). In order to internalize the learning content, full-day face-to-face events in small groups (approx. 25 students) take place on every second Saturday of the semester, in which the students deepen their knowledge in specific exercises and case studies and apply it in a practice-oriented manner.

In addition to the presence, the exchange between students and with teachers as well as interactive learning is supported by the ILIAS learning and communication platform and other eLearning elements.
