As a graduate of the Master’s degree in Marketing and Sales, you have the following qualifications:

Professional competence
 ie have a broad, specific and critical understanding on the current state of knowledge and scientific methods in the field of marketing and sales. This enables you to evaluate alternative courses of action, to develop, implement and evaluate concrete solutions to practical problems both in a national and international context. For example, after completing your studies, you can independently develop (strategic) marketing concepts, analyze specific questions of sales management and general marketing problems in various sectors (e.g. trade, industry, consumer goods), solve them and give well-founded recommendations for action.

Methodical competence
You apply your knowledge with the help of modern media and digital techniques, instruments and methods to familiar and new situations in your field in a practice-oriented manner. You also take interdisciplinary, social and ethical aspects into account.  

Social competence
You understand and practice efficient forms of communication in social groups, have emotional intelligence and intercultural competence. You are emphatic and able to work in a team, can convince argumentatively, delegate tasks and involve team members in a goal-oriented manner in problem solving and decision-making.

Bachelor's degree in business administration or a combined degree in economics with at least an overall grade of 2.5 and

  • at least 30 ECTS (excluding practical and project modules) from module examinations in the field of marketing (e.g. basics of marketing, buyer behavior, marketing research, etc.)
  • a relevant bachelor thesis from the field of marketing


Efficient marketing and modern sales are indispensable for a high level of competitiveness in a globalized, highly dynamic world characterized by a wide oversupply of goods and services and significantly determine the economic success of companies.

There is no such thing as a rigid job description. Graduates of the Marketing & Sales master’s degree are not dependent on any sector. You work as a manager or in management functions in industrial, commercial and service companies. You are doing attractive, responsible tasks here, e.g. B. in the areas of sales, key account management, customer relationship management, category management, marketing planning, marketing controlling, product management, strategic marketing etc.
