Overview

The first and second semesters contain essential basics for planning, which are conveyed in seminars and exercises with a high degree of practical relevance.

In the context of projects in the third and fourth semester, the knowledge is deepened so that the students in the fifth semester go into the practical semester with very good basic knowledge.

In the last two semesters (6/7), students can expand their knowledge in specialization subjects and elective subjects according to their own inclinations.

The course ends with the final thesis in the 7th semester.

Design and draft

The department deals with the design of public and private open spaces as part of the cultural landscape. Planning is a continuous process that includes analysis, planning, design and implementation. Ecological, socio-economic and design aspects are therefore conveyed.

Landscape planning and environmental planning

The object is the preservation and development of the natural foundations of life on the basis of environmental and planning law. Based on problem-related inventory analysis, evaluation and development of planning alternatives, the main goals of sustainable public provision and provision for the future are pursued. In addition to planning methodology, the subject conveys ecological and legal principles.

Construction technology and economics

Technically flawless economic planning and construction are of paramount importance, especially in gardening, landscaping and sports field construction. This requires knowledge in the technical and business areas, as well as in personnel and employee management as well as in the organization of construction sites.
