Environmental engineers in construction are involved in the planning of construction measures and infrastructure facilities that shape our daily lives.

In addition to technically flawless and reliable planning, sustainability and social acceptance of the planned systems are playing an increasing role.

Due to the diverse environmental standards and extensive legal requirements in the area of ??the environment, there is an ever increasing demand for expertise in this area in the planning and implementation, and also in the event of future dismantling of structures.

Integrative planning is just as essential as the extensive involvement of the public.

The innovative bachelor's degree "Environmental Engineering - Construction", which follows the recommendations of the Accreditation Association for Degree Programs in Construction (ASBau), provides the necessary skills for these demanding tasks.

The students get an overview of the basics of civil engineering as well as in-depth knowledge of ecological relationships and their socio-economic significance. You will be able to bring together the disciplines involved in a construction project in order to achieve a sustainable construction result.

Compulsory elective modules offer you the opportunity to set your own specializations.

The course takes place in small groups and comprises six theoretical semesters and a practical phase in the seventh semester, which is followed by the final thesis.

Partial studies abroad are supported. Existing university partnerships can be used for this.
