In both specializations, students carry out a demanding project in agile teams, for example on topics such as interaction in virtual reality, secure communication or the development of human-machine interfaces for the care sector. The project-oriented course in Weimar enables students to focus on current challenges such as the increased need for virtual forms of collaboration in times of social distancing.

In the elective module area, you can choose freely from the university's offers. The choice of a language course or a stay abroad are also possible and desirable and are actively supported by the department.

You complete your computer science studies with your bachelor's module. You write a scientific bachelor thesis, which you then present. The lecturers of the degree program and their staff are available here for consultations at any time. After a successful defense, the Bauhaus-Universität Weimar will award you a "Bachelor of Science" degree.

The study and examination regulations regulate further information on the formalities of the studies.
